When you think of the words, Pixel and Google, what usually pops up is Google's Chromebook Pixel. That may change today.
At $499, Google is rolling out it's latest gadget, Pixel C. Pixel C is not any sort of Chromebook. It doesn't run on Chrome OS. Pixel C is Google's first ever attempt at creating a convertible (which is what the C stands for).
What's a convertible? No, not the car, but two separate pieces of tech, that could be used separately or together. Pixel C starts off as a tablet. A solid anodized aluminum build gives Pixel C a balance of durability and a premium look. The device, also, features, USB Type-C, a 34.2 WHr battery, a 10.2" 308 PPI display (#TeamCrispy), and stereo speakers.
Pixel C runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which is the latest version of the operating system. What's powering Marshmallow? Google implanted a Nvidia Tegra XI 64-bit processor into this device. 3GB RAM jumps on board with Pixel C, as well.

Also, this device comes with magnets, for what? A keyboard. Pixel C's keyboard magnetically connects and features inductive charging, which means it charges from the Pixel C's battery. The keyboard, also, features Bluetooth LE and a premium anodized aluminum build. At 399 grams, this keyboard is pretty lightweight and easy to access.
This is first attempt at Google making a two-device device. With it's premium build and great specs, Pixel C is set to be a game changer in portability and tablet technology.
